(DALIANNEWS)- Picture taken on June 12, 2010 shows that local students and recital lovers read Chinese classical poems during a poetry reading activity at Naval Square in Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning Province, so as to celebrate the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival which falls on June 16 this year.

A folk cultural activity featuring a series of art performances such as the egg carving, shell carving, paper-cut, cloth art and clay sculptures is held at Dalian Laodong Park to add the festive atmosphere to the festival. The activity will end on June 19.
