The China Software Innovation Report 2010 was issued at the China International Software Innovation and Venture Capital Forum, part of the 8th China International Software and Information Service Fair (CISIS) held at Dalian World Expo Center, June 23, 2010.
According to the overall merit on the innovation ability in the software industry among 23 domestic cities, Dalian ranks the seventh place and the second-tier cities in the report. Dalian is also regarded as a city with the superior innovation environment in term of the report.
Based on the economic environment, infrastructural facilities, innovation ability, intelligence resource, human resource and industrial cluster, the report makes the exploratory analysis among 23 cities, divided the cities into three tiers.
Among the first-tier cities are Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen,Guangzhou and Suzhou; Hangzhou, Dalian, Tianjin,Chengdu, Nanjing and Wuxi are in the second tier; The third-tier cities includes Shenyang, Jinan, Zhuhai, Xi’an, Wuhan,Changsha,Fuzhou, Ha’erbin, Daqing, Hefei and Nanchang.
Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Dalian and Suzhou are considered as the top seven cities with the superior innovation environment in the report.
